– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Make the crust: In a bowl, combine flour, butter, and ice-cold water. Mix until a dough forms. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
3. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch. Transfer to a 9-inch tart pan with a removable bottom.
4. Prepare the filling: In a bowl, combine chicken, onion, garlic, and heavy cream. Mix well.
5. Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the tart crust.
6. If using cheese, sprinkle it over the filling.
7. Fold the edges of the crust up over the filling to form a crust border.
8. Brush the crust with beaten egg for a golden glaze.
9. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
10. Serve warm.
