redients
– 2 pounds chicken wings
– 1/2 cup Frank’s RedHot sauce (or your preferred hot sauce)
– 1/4 cup butter
– 1 tablespoon vinegar
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– Optional: blue cheese dressing and celery sticks for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Rinse the chicken wings and pat them dry with paper towels.
3. Season the wings with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
4. Bake the wings for 30 minutes.
5. While the wings are baking, mix the hot sauce and butter in a bowl.
6. After 30 minutes, remove the wings from the oven and toss them in the hot sauce mixture until they’re fully coated.
7. Return the wings to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until they’re cooked through and slightly caramelized.
8. Remove the wings from the oven and toss them in a bowl with the vinegar.
9. Serve the wings hot with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks, if desired.
Tips
– For extra crispy wings, increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) for the last 10-15 minutes of cooking.
– If you prefer a milder wing, reduce the amount of hot sauce or substitute it with a milder sauce.
– To make the wings more substantial, serve them with a side of carrot sticks, fries, or a salad.
