Cooker Barbequed Beef

Ingredients:

– 2 pounds beef brisket or beef roast
– 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
– 1/4 cup beef broth
– 2 tablespoons brown sugar
– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions:

1. Season the beef: Rub the beef with salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
2. Mix the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder.
3. Add to crocker: Place the beef in a crocker and pour the sauce over it.
4. Cook low and slow: Cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
5. Shred and serve: Shred the beef with two forks and serve on a bun with additional barbecue sauce, if desired.
