– 1 1/2 cups (190g) unsalted butter, softened

– 1 cup (240ml) buttermilk
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter until creamy. Gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
5. With the mixer on low speed, gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in three parts, alternating with buttermilk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Beat just until combined.
6. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
7. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
