– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
– 1 egg
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
2. Form meat mixture into meatballs, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
3. Place meatballs in the Crock Pot.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together French onion soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme. Pour mixture over meatballs.
5. Cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 1-2 hours.
6. If using mozzarella cheese, sprinkle on top of meatballs during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and crusty bread on the side, if desired.
