– 1 1/2 cups (190g) unsalted butter, softened
– 1 3/4 cups (210g) granulated sugar
– 8 ounces (225g) cream cheese, softened
– 4 large eggs, at room temperature
– 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
– 2 3/4 cups (315g) all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease a 9×5-inch (23x13cm) loaf pan and line with parchment paper.
2. Beat butter and sugar: In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
3. Add cream cheese: Beat in the cream cheese until well combined.
4. Add eggs and vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
5. Mix dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
6. Combine wet and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
7. Pour into loaf pan: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
8. Bake: Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
9. Cool: Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
