Ingredients:
– 4 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
– 2 lemons, juiced
– 1/4 cup olive oil
– 4 sprigs of fresh rosemary
– 4 sprigs of fresh thyme
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
4. Drizzle the olive oil over the salmon, then sprinkle with minced garlic.
5. Place a sprig of rosemary and thyme on top of each salmon fillet.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
7. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until cooked through.
8. Remove the salmon from the oven and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top of each fillet.
9. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Tips:
– Make sure to cook the salmon to an internal temperature of at least 145°F (63°C) to ensure food safety.
– Don’t overcrowd the baking sheet, as this can cause the salmon to steam instead of sear.
– Use fresh and high-quality ingredients for the best flavor.
– Experiment with different herbs and spices to find your favorite flavor combination.
Variations:
– Pan-Seared Salmon: Cook the salmon in a skillet on the stovetop instead of baking.
– Grilled Salmon: Cook the salmon on a grill for a smoky flavor.
– Asian-Glazed Salmon: Brush the salmon with a mixture of soy sauce, honey, and ginger for a sweet and savory glaze.
