Ingredients:

For the Steak:

– 1.5-2 pounds ribeye or strip steak
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon paprika

For the Creamy Cajun Shrimp Sauce:

– 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 2 tablespoons butter
– 1 medium onion, diced
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
– 1/2 teaspoon paprika
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Steak

1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
2. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
3. Rub the mixture all over the steak, making sure to coat it evenly.
4. Grill the steak for 5-7 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
5. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing it thinly.

Step 2: Prepare the Creamy Cajun Shrimp Sauce

1. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.
2. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
3. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
4. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp and cook until pink and fully cooked, about 2-3 minutes per side.
5. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set them aside.
6. In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter.
7. Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning and paprika over the butter and cook for 1 minute.
8. Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer.
9. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until it thickens slightly.
10. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and cook until melted and smooth.
11. Add the cooked shrimp back into the sauce and stir to combine.
12. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 3: Serve

1. Slice the grilled steak against the grain.
2. Serve the steak with the creamy Cajun shrimp sauce spooned over the top.
3. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
