Ingredients
– 4 lobster tails (6 oz each)
– 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 lemons, cut into wedges
– 1/4 cup white wine (optional)
– 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1 tsp paprika
– 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare lobster: Rinse lobster tails under cold water, pat dry with paper towels.
2. Season lobster: Sprinkle both sides of lobster tails with salt, pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using).
3. Dredge lobster: Coat lobster tails in flour, shaking off excess.
4. Sear lobster: Heat 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add lobster tails, sear for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove lobster from skillet, set aside.
5. Make garlic butter: Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining 2 tbsp butter to skillet. Once melted, add garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
6. Add white wine (optional): If using white wine, add it to skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, until reduced by half.
7. Finish with lobster: Return lobster tails to skillet, spoon garlic butter over top. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until lobster is cooked through.
8. Serve: Serve lobster hot, garnished with parsley and lemon wedges.
