Posted on December 25, 2024 by admin

Ingredients

  • 1 cup freshly brewed coffee (hot)
  • 1/4 cup milk (or your favorite milk alternative)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate shavings, sprinkles, or a dash of cinnamon (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Brew the Coffee:
    • Prepare a cup of your favorite coffee using your preferred method (drip, French press, or espresso).
  2. Heat the Milk:
    • In a small saucepan or microwave, heat the milk until warm. Froth it using a frother or whisk for a creamy texture (optional).
  3. Mix the Spices:
    • Stir the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves (if using) into the hot coffee. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Combine:
    • Pour the frothed milk into the spiced coffee, stirring gently.
  5. Top and Garnish:
    • Add a dollop of whipped cream, if desired, and sprinkle with chocolate shavings, cinnamon, or festive sprinkles for a holiday touch.
  6. Serve:
    • Serve immediately in your favorite holiday mug and enjoy the warm, festive flavors!

Tips:

  • For an indulgent twist, use half milk and half heavy cream instead of plain milk.
  • Add a splash of Irish cream, amaretto, or peppermint schnapps for an adult version.
  • Pair with Christmas cookies for the ultimate treat!

Enjoy your cozy Christmas Coffee and spread the holiday cheer! ☃️✨
