🍵 Cinnamon Sore Throat Tea Relax

Ingredients

– 1 cup boiling water
– 1 cinnamon stick (or 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon)
– 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
– 1/2 lemon, sliced (optional)
– 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger (optional)

Instructions

1. In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
2. Add the cinnamon stick (or ground cinnamon) and reduce heat to low.
3. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the tea has reduced slightly and the flavors have melded together.
4. Strain the tea into a large mug using a tea strainer or cheesecloth.
5. If desired, add honey to sweeten and lemon slices for added flavor.
6. If desired, add ground ginger for extra anti-inflammatory properties.
7. Drink hot, 2-3 times a day, to help soothe a sore throat.
