banana split pie happy new year

Ingredients:

Crust:
– 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 6 tablespoons (3/4 stick) unsalted butter, melted

Filling:
– 4 large ripe bananas, sliced
– 1 cup strawberry ice cream
– 1 cup pineapple ice cream
– 1 cup chocolate ice cream
– 1 cup whipped cream
– 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
– 1 cup maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
– 1 cup chocolate syrup

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. Prepare crust: Mix crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into a 9-inch pie dish. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
3. Assemble filling: Arrange sliced bananas in the baked pie crust.
4. Add ice cream: Scoop strawberry, pineapple, and chocolate ice cream on top of the bananas.
5. Top with whipped cream: Spread whipped cream over the ice cream.
6. Add toppings: Sprinkle chopped nuts and maraschino cherries over the whipped cream.
7. Drizzle with chocolate syrup: Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top of the pie.
8. Serve and enjoy: Serve immediately, or freeze for up to 2 hours before serving.
