Ingredients:
For the Crust:

For the Brownie Layer:
– 1 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 6 ounces best-quality bittersweet or dark chocolate, chopped
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
– 4 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
For the Pecan Pie Layer:
– 1 cup pecan halves
– 1/2 cup light corn syrup
– 1/2 cup granulated sugar
– 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
– 2 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– Salt to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Prepare the crust: Mix flour, sugar, and melted butter. Stir in chopped pecans. Press into a 9-inch springform pan.
3. Prepare the brownie layer: Melt chocolate and butter. Whisk in eggs, sugar, flour, vanilla, and salt. Pour over the crust.
4. Prepare the pecan pie layer: Whisk together corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Stir in pecan halves. Pour over the brownie layer.
5. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the filling is set.
6. Let cool completely before slicing and serving.
