Ingredients
– 1 pound ground beef
– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
– 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
– 1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese
– 1/4 cup chopped cooked bacon
– 1 onion, finely chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 egg
– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– 1/4 cup ketchup
– 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, bacon, onion, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, and oregano. Mix well with your hands or a wooden spoon until just combined.
3. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan or shape into a loaf shape on a baking sheet.
4. In a small bowl, mix ketchup and brown sugar. Brush the mixture evenly over the meatloaf.
5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
6. Remove from oven and let rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.

– Use high-quality ingredients, including real bacon and cheddar cheese.
– Don’t overmix the meatloaf mixture, as it can become dense.
– If you prefer a glaze, mix equal parts ketchup and brown sugar, and brush over the meatloaf during the last 10-15 minutes of baking.
