Ingredients
– 1 lb ground meat (beef, pork, or chicken)
– 2 cups green beans, trimmed
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tablespoon soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– Cooked rice or noodles, for serving
Instructions
1. Prepare ingredients: Cut green beans into 2-inch pieces. Mince garlic.
2. Cook ground meat: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add ground meat and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add aromatics: Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.
4. Add green beans: Add green beans to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until they start to soften, about 3-4 minutes.
5. Season with sauces: Add soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using) to the skillet. Stir to combine.
6. Finish cooking: Continue cooking, stirring frequently, until green beans are tender-crisp and meat is cooked through, about 4-5 minutes.
7. Season with salt and pepper: Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
8. Serve: Serve stir-fried green beans and meat over cooked rice or noodles.
