Strawberry Piña Colada Smoothie 🍓

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup coconut milk (or coconut cream for a richer texture)
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt (optional for extra creaminess)
  • 1–2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
  • ½ cup ice cubes (if using fresh fruit)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Optional garnish: shredded coconut, fresh strawberries, pineapple wedges

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Ingredients

  1. If using fresh strawberries, hull them and chop if necessary.
  2. Peel and core the pineapple if fresh.

Step 2: Blend the Smoothie

  1. In a blender, combine the strawberries, pineapple chunks, coconut milk, Greek yogurt (if using), honey, and vanilla extract.
  2. Add the ice cubes if using fresh fruit.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Step 3: Adjust Consistency

  1. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash of water, coconut milk, or pineapple juice to thin it out.
  2. If it’s too thin, add more frozen fruit or ice cubes.

Step 4: Serve and Enjoy

  1. Pour the smoothie into glasses.
  2. Garnish with shredded coconut, fresh strawberries, or pineapple wedges for a tropical flair.
  3. Serve immediately with a straw or spoon!
