– 1 cup (200g) milk chocolate chips
– 1 cup (120g) chopped pecans
– 1/2 cup (100g) light brown sugar
– 1 tablespoon (15g) unsalted butter
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– Pinch of salt
– Optional: 1/2 cup (60g) crushed sea salt or flaky sea salt for garnish
Instructions
1. Line the baking sheet: Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
2. Melt the chocolate: In a double boiler or a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips and milk chocolate chips separately. Stir until smooth.
3. Prepare the pecans: In a medium bowl, mix together chopped pecans, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
4. Assemble the bark: Pour the melted white chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread it into a thin layer.
5. Add the pecan mixture: Sprinkle the pecan mixture evenly over the white chocolate layer.
6. Drizzle with milk chocolate: Drizzle the melted milk chocolate over the pecan layer.
7. Garnish with sea salt (optional): Sprinkle crushed sea salt or flaky sea salt over the top of the bark, if desired.
8. Chill and break: Refrigerate the bark for at least 30 minutes or until set. Break it into pieces and serve.
